Why Empower and Cultivate Exist
Hi, I’m Susan!
A Mother, a COO, and a Founder
Susan has always been driven and fiercely independent.
But when her daughter Camila was born, something shifted.
She began to question whether paychecks and promotions were worth missing the moments that mattered most.
She wanted a life rooted in freedom, flexibility, and purpose.
Not just for herself, but for the beautiful little bundle of joy she was nurturing.
She realized: she didn’t need to choose between being a nurturing mother and a powerful leader.
Turning Vision Into Reality
Susan wasn’t trying to juggle motherhood and meetings; she wanted to redefine success on her own terms.
She wanted to redefine what leadership looked like.
More human, more sustainable.
As COO of a fast-growing training company and later a fractional Head of Operations, she spent 6+ years building operations from scratch, witnessing one truth again and again:
“A business only grows when the team grows with it.”
She saw even the most talented founders stall due to burnout, role confusion, and disjointed systems and she knew it didn’t have to be this way.
